BattleVerse Showcased at EUROSATORY 2026
The BattleVerse project was proudly presented at EUROSATORY 2026, one of the world’s leading international exhibitions dedicated to defence and security. Hosted at the AKMON S.A. booth, the event offered an excellent platform to showcase the project’s objectives, technological vision, and contribution to the future of European defence innovation.
The exhibition brought together defence organizations, industry leaders, research institutions, and public authorities from around the world, creating valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
BattleVerse Holds Its 1st Plenary Meeting in Athens
The BattleVerse consortium successfully held its first plenary meeting in Athens on 27–28 May 2026, bringing together project partners from across Europe to establish a shared vision for the next stages of the project.
During the two-day meeting, consortium members reviewed the overall project objectives, discussed technical developments, and coordinated the strategic, operational, and scientific activities that will guide BattleVerse throughout its implementation.
Naval R&D Partners Days 2026
Battleverse Project was presented at the 6th Naval R&D Partners Days in Athens, organized by NAVAL GROUP, bringing together key representatives from the Hellenic defence industry, academia, and research ecosystem.
During the event, Dr. Nikolaos Dimitriou (Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) introduced the project, highlighting its objectives and its contribution to advancing next-generation defence capabilities through innovative and immersive technologies.
Thessaloniki Kick-off Meeting
On 25–26 November 2025, the BattleVerse consortium met in Thessaloniki, Greece, hosted at the Interservice War College, for the project’s first official meeting.
Partners aligned on the project’s strategic direction, key objectives, operational planning, training activities, and technology integration, establishing a common roadmap and strengthening collaboration for the successful implementation of BattleVerse.
