Introduction To BattleVerse
BattleVerse envisions bridging real and virtual battle environments to support dynamic and effective mission planning and execution, through multi-domain simulations.
Leveraging AI-driven scenario generation and reinforcement learning, BattleVerse will enable the virtual execution of complex mission scenarios, delivering actionable insights into battlefield dynamics and improving response times.
It will provide commanders with an interactive virtual battlespace enriched by digital twins of battle assets, landscapes, and weather for precise testing of multiple courses of action and to simulate potential enemy. By fostering innovation and collaboration, it strengthens Europe’s defence autonomy and technological leadership in complex, multi-domain operations.

A multidisciplinary team shaping human-centred mission technologies
The BattleVerse Consortium brings together 28 leading European partners and affiliated organisations from 12 countries. Selected for their excellence and complementary expertise, these partners form a strong, transnational collaboration dedicated to advancing innovation in defence technologies.
With participants from France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Finland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Greece, and Cyprus, the consortium unites research centres, universities, SMEs, and industrial leaders. Together, BattleVerse consortium fosters cross-border cooperation and develops sustainable, high-impact solutions for Europe’s defence ecosystem.
